Chia Seed Tortillas

Ingredients

  • ¾ cup chia seeds, ground (blended)

  • 1 cup almond flour

  • ¼ cup coconut flour

  • ½ teaspoon pink salt

  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder (optional)

  • 1 cup room temperature water 

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the ground chia seeds, almond flour, coconut flour, pink salt, and garlic powder.

  2. Mix well until fully combined and free of lumps.

  3. Add the water to the mixture and stir until a uniform dough forms.

  4. Take a small portion of the dough, about the size of your fist, and form it into a ball.

  5. Place the ball between two sheets of parchment paper and flatten it with a rolling pin into a circular shape.

  6. To perfect the shape of the tortilla, you can use a lid or any other tool that helps.

  7. Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the tortilla for a few minutes, then flip it to cook the other side until golden. Keep an eye on it to avoid burning.

  8. Serve as desired and enjoy!
