My Health Journey

For the last eight and a half years, I’ve embraced a high-protein, low-carb lifestyle paired with my Mom Magic—my secret weapon that helped me transform my body composition and gave me myself back. Before I started drinking my Mom Magic and shifting my eating lifestyle, I only had enough energy to be a good “Mom Christina,” but I was losing “Christina Christina.” By the time my daughters went to bed, I was completely drained, with nothing left to pursue my own dreams or goals.

Since drinking my Mom Magic and making changes to my eating habits, everything has shifted. Not only did it help me drop 10 pant sizes, lose 30 pounds, and gain lean, toned muscle that I’ve maintained for over six years, but it also gave me the energy, focus, and confidence to go after my goals. I’ve become a better “Mom Christina,” but more importantly, I get to be “Christina Christina” all day long—even after my girls are asleep.

My World Kitchen

Food has always been central to my life. Growing up as a Cuban American, I was surrounded by the flavors of my abuela’s black beans, rice, and picadillo, while my American grandmother introduced me to other family classics. Their love of cooking shaped me, even though I didn’t realize it at the time.

My passion for food expanded as I traveled the world. I’ve visited 27 countries across six continents, exploring bold spices, vibrant flavors, and unique dishes. For a time, I lived in a place where I was surrounded by restaurants featuring foods from at least 25 different countries. I loved it! But when I shifted to a low-carb lifestyle, I found it harder to enjoy those diverse cuisines while sticking to my goals.

A World of Exploration

My world doesn’t stop in the kitchen. I’m a wife, mom to two incredible daughters (now 9 and 10), and a worldschooler. Our family travels every three months for a month at a time, fully immersing ourselves in the cultures and foods of the places we visit. 

One of the biggest ways we connect to the world is through language. I am bilingual in English and Spanish, and my daughters are learning four languages: French, Mandarin, Spanish, and English. This passion for language and culture runs through everything we do, whether we’re cooking international dishes, learning from locals on our travels, or simply exploring and learning together.

I believe that language and food are two of the most powerful ways to connect with people and cultures.
